PRE-PRODUCTION SERVICES
Quality Technical Services provides pre-production services, which include;

• Quality audits of approved manufacturers & subcontractors.
• Review and comparison of Chinese standards with international & national standards and customer requirements,
• Review of specification & drawings,
• Review of Inspection & Test Plan (ITP),
• Review of welder qualification records (WPQR),
• Review of non-destructive testing records (NDT),
• Review of Quality Control systems & documentation.

GENERAL SERVICES
Quality Technical Services can provide general inspection services, as follows:
Specification & Drawings - Review content of specifications & drawings to verify compliance with contractual requirements.

Incoming Materials Inspection - Verify condition of incoming materials, obtain mill certificates, take samples for testing.

Decal & Markings Inspection - Verify materials & results from the decal & markings manufacturing process.

Welding Procedures & Specifications - Review PQR & WPS for conformance to contractual requirements.

Welding Consumables Inspection - Inspect welding consumables for conformance to contractual requirements.

Welder Qualification Testing - Witness & report results of welder qualification testing including set-up, welding, macro etch, bend tests, V-notch break tests.

Welding Inspection - Inspect by visual & dimensional measurement the results of welding processes; MMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW.

Non-Destructive Examination of Welds - Witness & report results of NDE methods: dye penetrant, magnetic particle & ultrasonic.

Mechanical Works Inspection - Witness & report results of pipework, mechanical fastening, component subassembly & final assembly.

Dimensional Inspection - Measure parts, welds & weldments, component assemblies & total assemblies to verify compliance with contractual requirements.

Painting Inspection - Inspect cleaning, abrasive blasting, edge preparation, stripe coating, paint application, DFT readings.

Materials Sampling & Testing - Take materials samples, prepare for testing, send to testing lab for verification of mechanical & chemical properties.

Testing Inspection - Witness mechanical strength tests, thermal integrity tests, valve & pipe leakage.

Pre Delivery Inspection - Inspect condition of completed equipment & components prior to delivery to buyer.

Inspection Checklists - Provide standard and/or customized inspection checklists.

Inspection Reports - Provide via e-mail on a daily basis for each working day throughout the manufacturing & predelivery inspection processes.

Digital Photos - Provide as required for non-compliance, rework and reject items.

Documentation - Provide as required by the owner / buyer and in accordance with contractual requirements.

WELDING INSPECTION & NON-DESTRUCTIVE TEST WITNESS
Quality Technical Services employs surveyors who are certified in welding inspection & non-destructive test witness, to ensure products are properly manufactured and do not fall apart during operation. Quality Technical Services employs an AWS Certified Associate Welding Inspector (CAWI) to review PQRs, WPSs, welding consumables & weld maps.

Quality Technical Services employs a Chinese certified NDT inspector, to witness NDT of welds.
